Block EA Deal Petition

Why We're Fighting to Block the EA Deal

Electronic Arts (EA) is pursuing an acquisition deal that would further concentrate power in an already monopolized gaming industry. If this deal goes through, millions of gamers and thousands of developers will face fewer choices, less competition, and more corporate control over the games they love.

Players Alliance HQ has already delivered over 60,000 petition signatures to the U.S. Treasury Secretary and met with congressional staff to make our case. This fight is real, and it’s working.

What the EA Deal Means for Gamers

  • Fewer independent studios as EA absorbs or eliminates competitors
  • Higher prices and more aggressive monetization with less competitive pressure
  • More layoffs as post-merger ‘efficiency’ cuts gut development teams
  • Reduced consumer choice across major gaming franchises

What Signing Does

  • Adds your voice to a petition being actively delivered to U.S. regulators and lawmakers
  • Signals to the FTC and Congress that gamers are organized and paying attention
  • Helps Players Alliance HQ demonstrate the scale of public opposition to gaming monopolization
